  1. Stanimira Koleva is Managing Director of the Partner Business Group for Cisco Systems in the Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC) region.
  2. Ms Koleva works closely with the Worldwide Partner Organization to lead the overall APJC strategy for the Channel and Partner Ecosystem.  She oversees transformational and ecosystem partnerships across all architectures and is also responsible for building the future partnerships needed to fuel Cisco’s growth.
  3. With a multi-faceted background rich in technology (computer science), business and sales experiences spanning more than 19 years across different markets, Ms Koleva possesses vast knowledge of the IT industry and channels, combined with leading business strategies and culture.  Throughout her career, Ms Koleva achieved numerous successes ranging from managing new lines of businesses, launching key channel partner strategy initiatives, as well as turnaround and substantial growth and profitability increase in the regions and businesses under her supervision.
  4. Ms Koleva holds Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration, both from Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated from Sofia’s Higher School of Mathematics with Honours.
What would you say are the most challenging and the most satisfying aspects of your work?

Most challenging is the sheer diversity and broadness of the Geographic region my function covers.
Most rewarding is – stimulate and lead best practices and leading business initiatives implementation across various countries and in multiple partnerships and seeing positive business outcomes;

What qualifications or certifications did you attain in order to reach your professional goals?

I hold a degree in Electronic Engineering and a MBA degree;
Also I have attended multiple Business leadership, sales and general management professional development programmes over the years;

If there is one message you would like to convey to young women to encourage them to consider a profession in the ICT sector, what would it be?

ICT is an exciting sector of the economy full of innovation and touching many of the aspects of our professional and personal life experiences. Women make such a difference through their contribution of unique view of how IT can drive dramatic improvements… A great place to be!
