What would you say are the most challenging and the most satisfying aspects of your work?

The sky is the limit for me; and I have the opportunity to shape my platform for technology development mapped to standards engagement and business opportunities globally.

I tend to see  potential inflection points quickly ;and, agility in execution can be a challenge especially in large companies with implications that it is absolutely essential to ground your stakeholders as to avoid frustration, an art in diplomacy!

What qualifications or certifications did you attain in order to reach your professional goals?

I was one of the first women globally to have attained a Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert [CCIE] Certification, http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/ccie/index.html [December 1995] and re-certified twice thereafter .

Additionally, taking on high risk projects have been pivotal to my success.  I once stated:

"If you do not toot your own horn, someone will use it as a spitoon" and to have the courage to be the change agent.!
