About IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit
The IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit (WIE – ILS) committee in collaboration with IEEE WIE and IEEE WIE Madras Affinity group announces WIE – ILS 2015 to be held in Chennai, India on 10-12 September, 2015. With a theme “Beyond Yourself – Leveraging your strengths and breaking barriers”, the conference will be focused on Inspiration, Leadership, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship.
What? The IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit is a part of IEEE WIE’s portfolio of global initiatives which includes an International Leadership Conference (WIE ILC), other summits in: Mexico, Philadelphia, Dubai, and Atlanta, live webinar chats with industry/academia, STEM Outreach Initiatives, Humanitarian Activities and much more.
Why? Our conference aims to build communities and enable them to find their peers and build connections that result in mutual benefit for every attendee. The WIE Leadership Summit is also designed to share the experiences of those men and women who made it to the top and bring the mentor-ship and guidance in the grasp of the young – the leaders of tomorrow.
Conference Tracks: The agenda’s focus is on different conference tracks covering the early career, mid-career and senior career women. The tracks are as listed below:
- Inspiration (Opportunities to energize women, celebrate accomplishments, and share experiences)
