Women in senior positions across industries currently stands at around 20%. In the ICT sector the figure is between 3 and 5% and the numbers of women studying ICT related subjects, which has historically been relatively low, continues to diminish.

Anne Bouverot, Director General of the GSMA, met with Leading ICT journalist, Jennifer Baker, to talk about attracting more female talent into the mobile and ICT industries at the Connected Women event in Brussels.

“Already today, ICT companies all over the world are trying to hire young graduates and attract people, and they cannot fill all of their positions.”
