The Victorian ICT for Women Network is an industry-driven initiative which aims to facilitate entry, retention and progression for women working in ICT.

It was established in response to a growing acknowledgement by government and the industry of the declining number of women entering the industry as well as the impact of current low participation levels on the skills base of ICT in Victoria. The Network represents a real desire by government, corporates and vendors to 'invest in action' to address the skills gap and lack of interest in pursuing ICT careers by increasing awareness of the diversity of ICT roles.

The Network is a critical link between government, business, the education sector and other industry associations to collaborate on, and influence the direction of ICT in Victoria.

Policy for use of the ITU Girls in ICT Logos and Banners

The ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners may only be used if the activities of the user are consistent with the aims, purposes and activities of International Girls in ICT Day.
The use of ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners must contribute to or provide an opportunity to promote International Girls in ICT Day.
The image, reputation and impartiality of International Girls in ICT Day must be maintained. The ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners may, in particular, not be used in any way which may imply the endorsement of the ITU of any product, opinion, or activity and in a manner prejudicial or detrimental to the interest of International Girls in ICT Day.
ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners must be used in their complete form without alteration or deletion. If used in conjunction with other logos, the International Girls in ICT logo must be reproduced in the same size and proportions as the other logos.
