CodeChix - cool developers and brainy chicks meeting face-to-face and gadget-to-gadget in a non-alpha, language/os agnostic, supportive environment and creating great things.
This is a group for women only. However, we are happy to have men come and support us by speaking about technical topics, sharing programming know-how and being supportive of us in all that we do.
Our motto: "May the code be with you…"
Our Main Goals:

  • Monthly hacking sessions - face-to-face and mentoring with experienced techies
  • Monthly informal get-togethers to discuss tech issues and projects
  • Programming/problem solving in a non-alpha, supportive environment
  • Working side-by-side on projects with other women and building great relationships on a personal level
  • Speaker series with prominent proponents of code and all things code-related
  • Education through workshops, seminars, outings
  • Networking
  • Spreading the word and support to other geographical locations for local CodeChix chapters
