ACS-W is a community formed to bring together women who have an interest in the ICT industry. This includes women who wish study IT, women who are in the industry, women who are involved in IT as part of their work and women re-entering the industry. ACS-W is not only an information portal for it's members but also a support group that encourages women to reach their IT goals. ACS-W encourages women to choose ICT as the attractive career option through role models and promotions in Universities, schools & to women returning to the workforce or looking to change their career. ACS-W understands the needs of women returning to the workforce and actively lobbies for wider acceptance by employers to provide for their needs.

ACS-S aims to attract and retain female professional members by providing opportunities for personal and professional development, networking and recognition of their contribution to the ICT community.

Policy for use of the ITU Girls in ICT Logos and Banners

The ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners may only be used if the activities of the user are consistent with the aims, purposes and activities of International Girls in ICT Day.
The use of ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners must contribute to or provide an opportunity to promote International Girls in ICT Day.
The image, reputation and impartiality of International Girls in ICT Day must be maintained. The ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners may, in particular, not be used in any way which may imply the endorsement of the ITU of any product, opinion, or activity and in a manner prejudicial or detrimental to the interest of International Girls in ICT Day.
ITU Girls in ICT logos and banners must be used in their complete form without alteration or deletion. If used in conjunction with other logos, the International Girls in ICT logo must be reproduced in the same size and proportions as the other logos.
