"ICT-Go-Girls! Promoting Entrepreneurship among Secondary School Girls through ICT"

On April 25th, an event will be held at Galicia Supercomputing Centre, in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, to celebrate the International "Girls in ICT" Day. This open event will be organized by the European Project "ICT-Go-Girls! Promoting Entrepreneurship among Secondary School Girls through ICT".

The event will gather several representatives from the Government of Galicia (Gender Office, ICT Modernisation, Education Ministry, R+D Agency) as well as CESGA, coordinators of  "ICT-Go-Girls!" project, and University of Santiago de Compostela, which also forms part of the project. The Galician Professional Association of Computer Engineers is also collaborating in the event.

The main part of the event will give voice to 4 female ICT entrepreneurs, founders and CEOS of local companies:

At least 100 secondary school students from several schools in the region (both boys and girls) will participate in the event virtually, through web conference, and will be able to ask questions and share their views with the speakers.
