ICT-Go-Girls aims to empower secondary school girls through ICT and entrepreneurial skills.  By creating this network, they seek to, in part, improve pedagogical delivery of such skills to girls as well as inspire girls to choose careers in ICT and entrepreneurship.  They also disseminate more traditional informational materials for teachers an girls such as handbooks and posters.

An industry-led coalition of employers, universities and industry organizations, founded by Bell Canada; focus on IT training and HR, seeks to address historically low female participation (25%).

Harnessing the democratic potential of email and the Internet in Zimbabwe.

The Kubatana Trust of Zimbabwe, incorporating the NGO Network Alliance Project (NNAP), aims to strengthen the use of email and Internet strategies in Zimbabwean NGOs and civil society organisations. Kubatana makes human rights and civic education information accessible from a centralised, electronic source.

Our web site archives over 24,200 documents about Zimbabwean civil society. We have an electronic network of over 350 NGOs and CSOs. Each Kubatana partner has what we call a “fact sheet” in our online directory. Our project has given many NGOs an Internet presence without them having to spend resources on a fully-fledged web site.

Brenda Burrell and Bev Clark are the co-founders of the project. Amanda Atwood keeps the project on course and inspired, harnessing the democratic potential of ICTs in Zimbabwe.

Kubatana uses ICTs to strengthen the work of Zimbabwean NGOs and civil society organisations. Kubatana makes human rights and civic education information accessible online.
