Code Like a Girl aims to introduce like-minded girls who are involved in the tech industry and/or enjoy coding. It organizes events during the year aimed at bringing together girls with a passion and interest in technology.

Launched in 2013, Code.org® is a non-profit dedicated to expanding participation in computer science by making it available in more schools, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. Code.org offers a wide range of resources that students and educators can use to learn and teach computer science.

This coding bootcamp offers USD$250,000 worth of scholarships for women, minorities and veterans accepted into its intermediate software development and advanced software development courses.

Partnering with tech companies across the US they deliver fundamental programming skills to underrepresented youth through the CodeNow in a Box program. Partner companies receive the tools, training, and resources they need to implement programming workshops for community youth. Interested students (High school students from grades 9 to 12) can apply online and, if selected, participate in pre-work and workshop workshops based on the programming language Ruby.
