The most satisfying part of my work comes from seeing the smiles and receiving expressions of gratitude from the people and organizations I have helped through the years that I have been doing ICT for D work. Knowing that I have contributed to improving people’s lives, in big or small ways. Is fulfilling.
Bringing the benefits of ICTs to those who have yet to be touched by the technology is in itself a challenge.
I have attended numerous ICT related training in the Philippines and abroad. I have also participated in various international ICT events and have learned from the experiences of other countries.
If there is one message you would like to convey to young women to encourage them to consider a profession in the ICT sector, what would it be?
Today’s world runs on information and communications technology (ICT). ICT has given people the reach and power to achieve new levels of personal growth and the means to shape events, aspirations, relationships, and their futures in ways before unimaginable. A career in ICT can open a lot of opportunities for young women.
